A traditional Jersey Farmhouse nestling in the south east corner of the island.  The house has retained its original charm and character by way of the traditional style furnishings which helps you feel that you have stepped back to an era gone by.  The property dates back to the 17th Century and would have been one of the more affluent farms in the area.  This large house has the advantage of a full dining room which is ideal for family meals. The kitchen boasts an oil fired aga and there is a woodburner in the dining room and open fireplace in the lounge;a starter pack of logs is provided. The enclosed large south facing lawned garden has ample table and chairs for alfresco eating and sun downers.  The south facing bedrooms have distance sea views.

A short distance away is the St Clement's coastline offering ample swimming, birdwatching and rockpooling (on an incoming tide only please!).  The nearest supermarket is 0.75 mile and in additon there are two extremely good farm shops nearby with fresh fish available on specified days.

Yoga classes take place in one of the adjoining outbuildings*.  You can join the classes for a small fee or can arrange private yoga lessons or even organise a full yoga retreat.  The highly qualified instructor is happy to talk through your requirements with you (if you ask).  Contact details and more information will be provided on request.

Farmhouse - 5 Bedrooms - Maximum 6 adults, 4 children, 1 infant.

Ground floor:
Hallway.  Kitchen with oil fired Aga plus full electric cooking.
Dining room.  Second hallway with door to garden and stairs to upper floors.

First Floor:
1 Double bedroom with super king double bed. 1 king size double bedroom.
1 Single bedroom with bunk beds and cot (no sea view from this room).
Bathroom with  power shower over bath, separate  WC.

Second Floor: Landing has dual purpose of being the house library.
1 Double king size bedroom. 1 Twin bedroom. Bathroom with power shower over bath.

As with all our properties, the maximum sleeping combination cannot be varied due to local housing laws.  You can however bring less people and combinations.

*Access to the yoga centre is through a corner of the garden - this does not cause very much disturbance and is only at intervals through your stay.  Classes are not constant. You can take the opportunity to join in with the classes for a small fee.
